Why You Should Subscribe To Scott Cramer
I have little interest in many of the topics that he reacts to. Although I went through a Jeopardy! phase during the Ken Jennings era, I’ve rarely been a big fan of game shows. As for watching kid’s networks, Disney was a distant third behind Nickelodeon and PBS. The only reason that I put it above Cartoon Network was because of Teacher’s Pet and Timon & Pumbaa.
With Cramer, the beauty is that it doesn’t matter. He doesn’t need to speak on topics of interest because he’s such an engaging personality. There’s no telling what his next video will call for because he doesn’t cover one single niche. It’s always a surprise.
He comes across as such a friendly person that it seems too good to be true. I’m afraid we’re all getting duped into him as the nicest dude ever and then BAM! Ten years later, storyteller extraordinaire MrBallen is preparing a video about the most evil man of North Dakota.
This is a highly recommended channel for someone who grew up during the 2000s and early 2010s. There’s a lot of fun content that will conjure up nostalgic flashbacks. Watching one of his videos can brighten my mood even on the most depressing days.
What I’d Like To See From Scott Cramer?
I’m about 10 years older than Cramer. So while this was before his time, I’d love to see him do a video on the 1990s PBS game show, Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego? That was one of my childhood favorites. I consider it in Cramer’s ballpark because two of his main focuses are game shows and PBS.
As an alternate suggestion, there was a PBS game show during his childhood called Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman. I never watched this because it was out of my age group. In previous videos, Cramer has mentioned that he watched this show. I’m confident that he could make an entertaining piece as he always does.

Most Popular Video
I can’t believe PBS Kids aired this episode… (5.2 Million Views, Published August 9, 2019)
This was a reaction to an episode of Arthur called Bleep. If we believe the comments section or the Out Of Context Arthur Tumblr, then the bleeped out word was ‘chicken.’ Like Cramer suggested, I wonder how many parents looked at the television in horror when they heard a bunch of bleeps on an educational kids show from cartoon mobsters.
For D.W., learning the word ‘chicken’ at such a young age was a blessing in disguise. Seeing that she grew up to become a police officer, now she can use that bleep word to subdue criminals and even make them drop weapons.
My Favorite Videos
The Holy Superhero
I’ve never watched Bibleman. I never even heard of it until I saw this reaction. This video still resonated with me because my mother wanted me watching similar shows such as Gerbert, The Gospel Bill Show and Becky’s Barn. She insisted that I listen to a lot of children’s Bible songs. I suppose it worked because I grew up to claim MercyMe as part of my Mt. Rushmore of music with George Strait, Garth Brooks and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
I know all about the strangeness of these shows. Joy Junction puppeteer Ronald Brown was caught wanting to abuse, cook, and eat kids. As for Bibleman, Cramer points out the cheesy humor, dramatic characters and cringe dialogue.
Ah, who am I kidding? I laughed out loud when Bibleman said, “I have friends in high places,” and the villain responded with, “I have no friends.”
Planet Fitness Hates Fit People
I’m an Anytime Fitness kind of bro. Midnight? To me, that sounds like a great time to head to the gym.
I never knew any of this about Planet Fitness. That lunk alarm would drive me insane. I’m thinking of Scott Herman setting it off when doing some of his exercise demonstrations because he’s exhaling too loud.
Chevy’s Terrible Ad Campaign
Cramer has an advertising degree. I appreciate these types of videos because I too am a marketing major. Some of my favorite videos are when he reacts to advertisements from GoDaddy, Got Milk?, Burger King and Chevy.
This video was in response to Chevy’s “Real people. Not actors.” marketing campaign. Cramer spends about 10 minutes mocking Chevy for treating potential buyers as a bunch of idiots. He highlights the awful and fake reactions from the people who aren’t actors, selling points that are common sense for anyone buying a new car, and the lack of anything genuine.
This video was what turned me on to Zebra Corner.
