Welcome to my YouTube spotlight series. As an avid follower of about 50 channels, I’m going to praise some of my favorite content creators. This includes people who have subscriber totals ranging from the tens of thousands to millions. I like to follow channels that cover sports, horror, mystery, debate, wrestling, otters, and charismatic content creators who have a cheerful demeanor.
Who Is FlemLo Raps?
I write about NFL & College American football players! I study both their lives and careers, then deliver it all to you wrap up in an easily digestible narrative. I’m basically YouTube’s NFL storyteller.
FlemLo Raps YouTube About Page
If you want to know more about him, then I suggest visiting the About page from his official website. It’s too long for me to just copy and paste as a quote. He includes a video where he talks about how getting kicked off his college football team eventually led him to making videos.
Why You Should Subscribe To FlemLo Raps
Is there a channel that doesn’t have a YouTube gold play button that deserves it more than this one? For anyone who isn’t aware, that’s a plaque that video creators receive when they reach one million YouTube subscribers. FlemLo Raps doesn’t publish the most content but he makes it worth the wait. He crafts his content with life advice that everyone can use.
I love this channel because it embodies the spirit of the alternative media landscape. When I turn on a mainstream network it’s all about Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers. FlemLo Raps focuses on the stars of yesterday and lesser known football players who have interesting stories that are rarely told. It’s cool to hear featured pieces on LeGarrette Blount, Tommie Campbell, Matt Jones, Tae Crowder, Zach Triner, Justyn Ross and Adrian McPherson just to name a few.
Football fans aren’t the only ones who respect his content. Former Atlanta Falcons running back Jamal Anderson thanked him for the following video:
Thank you for telling my story truthfully, Flemlo Raps. There is a lot more to it but you did a great job. God bless, I wish you success

FlemLo Raps became a full-time YouTuber when he had 5,000 subscribers. Now he has close to 900,000. It’s fun to subscribe to him because it’s always a surprise as to who or what he’ll cover next. He could make a documentary on Andrew Luck or Jim Sorgi you just don’t know with him.
What can viewers expect in the future? EA Sports plans on bringing back its college football series in 2023. FlemLo Raps has expressed his excitement and concerns for the game that his channel was started upon.
What I’d Like To See From FlemLo Raps
I swear on my life that I had created a list of five players with one of my ideas being Tarik Cohen. Not even 48 hours after Cohen’s Instagram tragedy and guess what was on the front page of my suggestion list…
FlemLo Raps is on his game! I’ll name four more players to consider for future videos.
- Pat Tillman
- Glen Coffee
- Ahman Green
- Napoleon Kaufman (most interested)

What Happened to The Player Who LIED His Way Into the NFL? (4.2M Views, Published July 24, 2019)
This is my one of my favorite documentary videos ever. When I say that I mean from anybody and about anything. After three years I still don’t believe this story about Damon Sheehy–Guiseppi. This man lied his way into an NFL training camp and almost made the regular season roster. The coincidences and connections that led to this event are unbelievable.
As of September 2021, the now age 27 Sheehy-Guiseppi was with the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
My Favorite Videos
What Happened To The Janitor With NFL Dreams? (Darrelle Revis High School Teammate)
This is one of his lesser viewed player documentaries but it’s my second favorite behind Sheehy-Guiseppi. The player in question is former Tennessee Titans cornerback Tommie Campbell.
I’m a supporter of the Green Bay Packers and Titans. This was around the time when I wrote for Yahoo! Contributor Network and Titan Sized. I’m aware that the Titans used to find players in late rounds and undrafted free agents who for whatever reason were cast aside. The main players who come to mind are LeGarrette Blount, Michael Preston and Campbell.
It’s great to hear that he went on to have an All Star career in the CFL. I had forgotten about Campbell after he left in 2013. I had heard the bare minimum of his story but never in that much detail. Campbell and Preston were both players who could’ve developed into more on teams with better situations (Green Bay). Campbell did great as a seventh rounder who played four seasons.
I wanted to highlight one of the comments on this video:
Tommie is one of my Bro’s, he just shared this on FB… and the fact that you’re this detailed in your blogs (for someone who’s information isn’t everywhere) is a crazy amount work. Respect and I’m definitely gonna watch more of your content.

Whatever Happened to NFL RB Ray Rice? (His Unbelievable Fall From Grace)
For me, this video was a huge coincidence because I kept having nonstop negative thoughts about this person on the day this video came out.. These timely twist of fates are part of what give me Truman Show delusion.
I felt as if FlemLo Raps was directly telling me to not judge the man for his worst moment. It’s ironic how this occurred when his career was coming to an end and he needed to spend more time creating a relationship with his family.
The Bizarre Story of an NFL WR Attempting to Become a Kingpin! What Happened to Sam Hurd?
FlemLo puts his talent for storytelling on display. I feel like I’m right there experiencing everything with Hurd.
What Really Happened to “Fake School” Bishop Sycamore? (A Look Beyond The Memes)
A football team that identified as a high school that doesn’t exist gets to play on ESPN. How does this happen without other schools or news stations calling them out? The kids had to rob Meijers, Kroger and Walmart just to eat.
How To Support FlemLo Raps
He has a Twitter that’s listed below, Facebook, and website. The website offers links to merchandise, videos, an about me page, and a list of people who’ve gave him a shout out because of his quality content.
Here’s the store where I purchased my shirt. I can attest that it’s very comfortable and has kept it’s snug fit after multiple washings. His store includes clothing, kitchen utensils, stickers, pillows, backpacks, aprons, and much more.
